As a woman, you simply have less muscle than your husband, brother and any other man. The fact that men have more muscle than women allow for them to burn more calories than women resulting in quicker weight loss. Men can even burn more calories at rest than a woman can.

Women’s Bodies Don’t React as Quickly to Exercise

To lose weight effectively and successfully, it is best not to ever compare yourself to anyone – same sex or opposite sex.
